Week 1 : Grammar, reading cloze and listening

Welcome everybody


This first week you should complete three activities.

first, go to http://www.michigan-test.com/ click on practice tests and complete test sample. then check your answers.

Second, using the same webpage click on listening test and do the test sample. then go over the answers.

Third, go to http://www.esl-lab.com/slang/slangrd1.htm . In this website you will find a table containing three categories of listening exercises (easy, medium and difficult). click on american slang link and do the listening exercises. The answers will be handed in on a separate sheet of paper on March 3rd.


On a separate piece of paper write a one-page reflection based on your performance.This reflection must be kept in your portfolio on March 3rd.
